Student Reporting Policy

Student Reporting Policy Information for Parents

Hello Parkcrest Families,
During the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 school years, Parkcrest teaching staff were part of the Ministry of Education's Student Progress Pilot Program. Please see the Ministry of Education Student Progress Pilot Program information package attached below for more information.
Effective for the 2020-2021 school year, and moving forward, SD73 will be using the Ministry of Education's Student Progress Program to communicate student learning to parents. It allows for increased student engagement and ownership by providing students with opportunities to become more involved and invested in assessment and evaluation processes. The most notable change in this way of reporting has been the 'look' of the report card and the reporting to parents - you will now receive two formal reports (Jan/Feb and June) with a range of other reporting processes including celebration of learning presentations and communication with homes via phone calls, emails and conferences.
Please see attached information below for more details.
